Autel MK808S Reset 2023 Chrysler Pacifica TCM Adaptive Values

Today I'm going to show how to use Autel MaxiCOM MK808S Diagnostic Scanner to reset TCM(Transmission Control Module) adapted value for 2017-2023 Chrysler Pacifica.

You should know if you own this car, Chrysler Pacifica have the 9-speed transmission. Sometimes it give you a hard shift like maybe at low speed you feel like that's a little bit when it's changing to a different gear. Sometimes it depends on how your driving habit is. Sometimes it could get really worse.

The Autel MK808Z software inside the transmission program to adapt to your driving style. So if your problem is getting worse, it's the best to reset the value to original OEM. That should temporarily fix your hardship thing problem.

Because 2018+ Chrysler has put a lock inside, in order to do the function, you have to buy the AutoAuth service of FCA to do auto function.

How to reset transmission adaptive values?

Hook up the Autel MK808Z to OBD2 port, then turn ignition on.

Diagnostics >> VIN >> Auto detect >> Chrysler >> OK >> Yes

To ensure the normal diagnosis, please ensure that it is properly connected to the network. Tap "Change" can select "Optional connection" or "North America access via AutoAuth". Otherwise, the last selection result will be remembered.

Press OK.

Security gateway unlocked successfully.

Press OK.

Diagnosis >> Auto scan

Wait until the scanning is finished.

TCM(Transmission Control Module) >> OK >> Special function >> Reset adaptive values

This procedure should only be run if and when the transmission has been overhauled.

Press OK, it should be reset.

Since I already reset mine a couple of days ago, so I'm not going to do it again. Thanks to Autel, it helps to solve the hard shifting problem of the ZF 9 speed transmission.
