Which Should You Choose: RKEY or EKEY?
The main deciding factor is the built-in immobilizer transponder.
- Choose EKEY when a built-in transponder is needed. It supports the transponder types listed above without requiring a separate chip add-on.
- Choose RKEY when a remote key without an integrated transponder is suitable for the job. A separate chip is required for immobilizer-related functions.
Both are programmable remote keys with remote lock and unlock functionality. Check the listed features and the required key configuration before choosing a model.
Note: Both series are sold individually. Batteries and emergency blades are not included.
