Solved: OTOFIX IM1 "Error Connecting To The Programmer!" Issue

Problem: The OTOFIX IM1 was failed to program Mercedes-Benz W204, it just gave the information as below:

"Error en la conexion al programador! Desea volverlo a intentar?"

(Error connecting to the programmer! Would you like to try again?)

What's the problem? Please advise.

Solution

That's beacuse the OTOFIX XP1 is not supported Mercedes-Benz programming. The advanced feature will need to work with XP1 Pro programmer.

It's suggested to consult whether the XP1 Pro can be purchased separately or use OTOFIX IM2 instead.
