Step-by-Step Programming Guide
1. Access Immobilizer Menu
Go to: Immo → KIA → Manual Selection → America → K5 (DL3A) → 2024- → Smart Key → OK → Select Smart Key Learning → Hot Function → Smart Key Learning → Start.
This function supports Add Key and All Keys Lost.
Warning: All existing keys will be erased. Press Yes to continue.
2. Prepare the Vehicle
Turn the ignition OFF (instrument screen black).
Open and close the driver door once.
3. Enter Security Code
When prompted, enter the 6-digit PIN code (example: *608126*).
4. Confirm Key Sensing Area
① Usually the ignition switch, but on some models it may be the cup holder or another location.
② Press OK, then within 5 seconds:
Hold the smart key against the Start/Stop button (back or top side) for 5 seconds until the security lamp flashes.
