How to Program 2024 Toyota Frontlander HV AKL with Autel IM608 II?

This guide shows you how to program 2024 Toyota Frontlander HV all keys lost with the Autel MaxiIM IM608 II. The process involves backing up EEPROM data, generating an analog key with the APB112, and performing PIN-free smart key learning.

Stage 1: Back Up IMMO Data

  1. Go to MaxiIM >> IMMO >> Toyota >> Manual selection >> Other >> Frontlander HV >> Smart Key >> 4A >> Control unit >> Keyless System (CAN).
  2. Select Back up IMMO data to read the EEPROM data from the smart main ECU. Ensure the tool has a stable network connection. Turn the ignition off, then switch the hazard warning lamps on and off once.
  3. Turn off Bluetooth on the IM608 II. Connect the VCI to the tool with a USB cable. Wait until EEPROM reading reaches 100%, then save the BIN file. Confirm that the backup succeeds.

Note: This function supports 4A smart key systems equipped with the TMLF19T smart main ECU from 2022 onward.






Stage 2: Generate an Analog Key

  1. Select Generate analog key and load the saved EEPROM BIN file. The tool displays Key Type: SLK8. Connect the APB112 Key Simulator when prompted.
  2. Wait for key generation to finish. Keep the analog key powered on throughout the process.
  3. Hold the analog key close to the Start/Stop button and press the button. If the instrument panel lights up, select Yes. If it stays off, select No to generate another analog key. Once generation succeeds, keep the analog key powered on.



Stage 3: Perform PIN-Free Smart Key Learning

  1. Disconnect the jumper wires. Connect the diagnostic connector directly to the vehicle's OBDII port.
  2. Select Add smart key and load the saved EEPROM BIN file. Turn on the ignition when prompted, enter the VIN, confirm Yes when asked whether the EEPROM data has been backed up, then select the saved file.
  3. Keep the generated analog key close to the Start/Stop button when prompted. Then hold the new key to be learned close to the button. Wait for Learning succeeded.


Verification

Start the vehicle with the new key. Confirm that the engine starts and the basic smart key functions work normally.
