Are you looking for an easy to use scan tool? This is it - Autel MaxiCOM MK808S diagnostic scanner. It's amazing. I had a problem with my Ford Edge, so I decided to get this scanner and figure out exactly what was going on. Because we had replaced parts and it didn't work.
- Unboxing Review
Here's what's included. It comes in this hard case. So it is not going to get damaged. It has velcro to hold everything in. Here's the Autel MK808S scanner, it even has a little kickstand on the back, so you can prop it up easily.
And also it has the plug, so you plug it directly into your vehicle and then into the scanner. The plug is plenty long so you'll have plenty of space to work with. You just plug it into the top and then tighten the ends on each side. Make sure it's snugly fit and you just turn it on.
It also comes with a charging PL plug which is fantastic. Here's a screen cloth so you can clean it as well. There's a quick start guide and instruction manual.

- Drive Test
It's on the Home screen that pops up there are so many things. I'm going to show what we did. It is plugged into the MK808Z scanner and into the Ford Edge. We decided to run some tests for the brakes. We're looking at a sensor for each wheels. There are just a ton of things you can do on here, this is just one example.
It pulled up my vehicle right away. It can scan. Here's just a list of items that you can go through. So if you're having problems with battery or brakes or oil, whatever it is. It's pretty much to be able to find the issues. Because there are so many options on here, we wanted to take my car for a test drive.
Auto detect >> Ford >> Yes >> Auto scan >> ABS >> Live data
The live data will actually record the wheels of the sensors. So we are selecting both of the front and the back wheel sensors. And we want to see the graph on each of those. So we're highlighting those and then selecting to see the graph on all four.
Because of this tool we're driving, you can see the live data coming through the scanner which is pretty impressive. The screen is moving, so the wheels are turning.
Let's take a look at the data, we just collected on the drive. All of the different colors are lining up pretty well. So each color is a different wheel sensor and they are all pretty close together.
At the end I'll show the huge difference that we had. You can pause it, make it go forward, go back or make it go faster. You can condense it down, so there's adjustments you can make depending on what you want to view.

- Wheel Sensors Test
If we go back to that Home screen and then we can take a look at what we already recorded. So earlier we did a test on the wheel sensors. We can see the red in the scrap is way off from the others. That's how we knew the front right sensor was bad and that's what we replaced. That's how we got the really good graphs in the beginning.
You can see how convenient this tool makes fixing your car. Because you can quickly see what it is. You can do resets, ABS bleeding and injector coding... so many things.
I would definitely recommend it.
