How to do Steering Angle Sensor Calibration with Autel MK808S?

Today I'll show how to use Autel MaxiCOM MK808S to do steering angle sensor(SAS) calibration for this car. We can see the SAS traction light is on when I start the car. And this car also got a "Steering Angle Sensor(SAS) fault", that's the problem I'm gonna solve.

Special function >> Function check sequence >> Set up mode for neutral of steering angle sensor(SAS) and lateral G sensor 0 point.

 

Set up mode for neutral of steering angle sensor(SAS) and lateral G sensor 0 point.

 

Stop the vehicle in straight ahead, press OK.

 

Set up mode for neutral of steering angle sensor(SAS) and lateral G sensor 0 point will be started.

Set up mode for neutral of steering angle sensor(SAS) and lateral G sensor 0 point will be completed.

We can see the dashboard, the SAS traction light has gone.

Turn ignition off then on. Perfectly gone.

 

So we can do steering angle sensor calibration with Autel MK808Z. It's quite an easy job. The whole process only took me less than 2 minutes.
